7. Words/graphics never, ever belong on parts of your body that people are not supposed to stare at…mmkay? I don’t care if you’re 5 or 55.
6. One really fantabulous accessory can change your whole outlook (if you need one, check out my favorite… yes, I know, it’s shameless but you know I had to plug the belt…and it’s true… 
).
5. Sometimes less is more but sometimes it’s just, well, less…and boring.
4. It is really silly to pay 4 times as much as it should cost to advertise someone’s brand for FREE for them.
3. Heels really do improve your posture…and your calf muscles…and your gluts – See, they’re practically health food…
2. Don’t ever, ever, ever give up (this is especially true when jean shopping…)
and if you choose not to follow any of the above in the end it’s really not going to matter…much…but, remember, above all…

Great list! I shop a lot to make sure I find what fits right, looks good and is the right price.
Yes, it does often take extra time to find just the right fit, but I agree that it’s worth it.
Just found you today via a mention on Twitter (Gypsy Mama, maybe?). Anywho… YEAH!! As far as #2 goes – a couple years a go I tried on 27(!) pairs of skinny jeans before I found some that fit right. I put on everything up to Rock & Republics. I was ready to pay the $210 if they had fit. Where did I find my magic jeans? Wal-Mart!! A pair of Lee Riders for $19 that look great and I wear probably once a week still! So excited to keep reading.
So glad you stopped by! A friend of mine found her magic pair at Walmart too! I probably tried on about 25 too until I found mine at NY and Co.
